Some interesting videos I found on YouTube

This first one is a nice story for children and for adults:

These other two are with Will Smith. Sounds like a nice guy…

…and this one is to practice speed reading. I don’t know if it works, but I suppose we could try…

This is a fable I heard in my childhood and never forgot.

This is a fable I heard in my childhood and never forgot.

The message is very good and I’ve always agreed with it.

The Man, the Boy, and the Donkey

An old man a boy and their donkey were going to town. The boy rode the donkey and the old man walked.

As they went along they passed some people who remarked what a shame it was that the old man was walking when the boy was riding.

The man and the boy thought maybe these critics were right, so they changed places.

Then later, they passed some people who remarked, “What a shame, that that old man makes the little boy walk.” So then they decided they would both walk.

And soon they passed some more people who thought they were stupid to walk when they had a decent donkey to ride. So, they both rode the donkey.

And now they passed some people who shamed them by saying, “How terrible to put such a load on a poor little donkey.”

And the boy and the man thought they were probably right, so they decided to carry the donkey.

But as they crossed the bridge, they lost their grip on the animal and it fell into the river and drowned.

And the moral of the story is:

If you try to please everyone, you might as well kiss your ass goodbye.
